Bought new KYB struts, do I need KYB dust boots?

Just what the title says. Will other dust boots work with these or do I have to go with the more expensive KYB boots?

You should be fine.

Only strut I know of that requires special boots comes with them.

I used my stock ones with my agx's

Ok good just needed to confirm this. Couldn't get my stock struts apart for the boots.

Ah ic. Well if you don't wanna spent the money on new ones you could always rent one for free at an autoparts store

I tried autozone but they don't have any to rent out. I found out my friend has one though so I'll use his. Saves me $60.
