Just bought an 01 GT with the Bose system. There is only 1 speaker in the back with a place for 2. There has never been a 2nd speaker (the black sticky crap is still there). I don't see where the 1 speaker is Bose. Is this stock or is something missing? Any info would be great.

If it is a true bose system you have a 8 speaker system
2 tweets
2 5 1/4 in front
2 6*9s for the subs -rear
2 4" for midrang -rear

Could be someone just threw a bose hu in there.
Open the trunk on driver side roof of trunk there should be a black box if it is not there you have the standered set up
 
The other tell-tail sign that is it a Bose system is if it has a black box mounted in the trunk under the rear deck. That is it's amplifier for the Bose component system :)
