Bose amp died help plz..specs on amp?

My Bose amp is dying. When I turn my aftermarket deck up or even just let it sit for 2 mins it shuts down and the speakers shut off. Looking for the specs such as RMS it shoots out so that I can just buy an aftermarket amp to power my speakers. and is there caps between the tweets or does the bose amp do all that?
 


Have you checked the fuse in the glovebox for the amp? And also if there's a ground line that goes to the amp check that
 
If you figured the amp was bad and wanted an easy replacement.. hit a JY.. there's billions of those amps selling cheap.
 
I don't know the specs on the factory speakers but you could just get another bose amp. Or you could upgrade to an aftermarket amp and upgrade the speakers as well.
 


I agree. Either just ge another Bose amp from the wreckers, or update your entire sound system. Two easiest options. Trying to work in an aftermarket amp tot he stock Bose system will be a nightmare.
