Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Boost guage installed..took every bit of 15 min..

So I went pepboys and got a cheapo $28, 20psi gauge. About 7' of small tubing and a set of the T connectors to tap into the line..

Well that took me all of 15 min. to hook it up and rout the line through the car..I took it for a test drive and got a video to show it working. I still have to splice it into the dim switch and ground it..

The hardest part of this install is the location I picked. I'm relocating the fog light switch and mounting the gauge just above the left driver side air vent..I think this is a perfect location for me because I don't want the piller pod. It's a little more sleeper like I guess..I have to take my dremal to the outer/inner dash peceies to get the gauge to fit. I'll be spending some time this weekend with a sanding wheel to get a clean fit/finish. I'll follow with pics this Saturday or Sunday. I'll also upload the video from my phone asap..

Ohhhh And when you put it to the floor the car boosts 5psi and spikes at 7psi at around 5,000rpms or so and holds until it shifts. Sounds about right for the 3.8" pulley on a stock car?! At idle it sits at about -19#'s or whatever the measurement is for the vacuum side.

The outer silver part comes off..I just set the gauge here to go for a quick text drive...

mine sits anywhere from 10-14 at idle. and sorry i dont like the placement:/ think the pillar pod would look better. but gj!

id suggest putting it in in place of the little cubby hole on the left side. thats where i put the switch for my halos. made that little space useful for once.

Thats not where it's going, I just had it sitting there for a test drive...

I've seen people put the gauge in that lil cubby hole but the steering wheel is in the way of seeing it lol...kinda pointless.

I'll upload some better pics, it's 2/3's done now..I tapped into the dim switch but I think you guys will like what the finished product looks like!!:th_thumbsup-wink:

Here's a little better pic...It will literally sit in the spot where the fog light switch was...above the ac/heat vent...almost like a dodge SRT-4 but on the other side of the steering wheel..

I get up to -20 VAC depending on what accessories I'm running.

5-7 PSI sounds right for a well flowing 3.8 setup

What do you mean well flowing? It's stock really besides my K&N hot air intake and a res delete..Going to build the fwi this weekend.

i think itll look nice..i wanted to do something like that but said f@ck it..got my a pillar pod in today though! now just waiting on gauges..................

Some? he's mising the whole damn thing LOL

Get a HUD 2 pod guage (and if you don't have a HUD, get one lol)

or a pillar pod

I know people go "OH YOU DAMN WANNA BE RACER" but its worth it.

When i'm done i'll be running an aeroforce, boost/vac, oil pressure and voltage. stock coolant temp guage is so inaccurate is scary...

NO WAY!! Weight reduction FTW!!!

haha naa in the last pic its just setting in their not even hooked up or bolted on. I have the dash piece sitting next to me. I need to do some fine trimming in the car and a bunch of trimming on the piece thats missins in the pics..I'm hoping it turns out like I have it pictured in my head. We shall see. I'll have it done tomorrow.

The car has the hud but I think the hud pod looks goofy. Pep boys had a 1, 2, or 3 gauge piller pod that I coulda used but I'd rather have it in the dash for some reason. I just think it will turn out cleaner over-all..a little more factory like

So I just did some fine trimming inside the dash so the gauge would sit as far above the vent as I could get it..I think so far it turned out well. These pics it's mounted and hooked up..I don't need to remove it again. Now tomorrow I'll spend some time trimming the outer piece and the frame for it...

Before..unmounted..

I wish I had gauges lol I'm thinking of getting rid of the DIC and putting three gauges there. I like that idea too boosted. Pillar gauges are cool, but I like the sleeper look. Besides I want my passengers to see what I see lol
