Blown head gasket?

I recently fixed a leaking hose that i assumed was cusing all my overheating issues. I filled it with coolant, and it ran like normal for the first day. the next day, it started acting like it wanted to over heat (temp hand was everywhere) but i drove it home anyway. it stayed @ a constant temp of 210 to 235 degrees. The following day, i get in it to drive off and the low coolant light comes on (the third time over the past few weeks) and i check the radiator, no coolant. Its bone dry but there is no coolant on the ground and none in the oil pan. Wtf man? You think it's a blown gasket (head or intake)? I am gonna pressure test it this weekend but if i find the pressure leaking, how much does it normally cost to fix this? i've heard it can be retardedly expensive....:th_nervous:

check your oil. if there is coolant in your oil you have bigger problems than losing your coolant because you might end up losing your motor too.

can you see it leaking externally anywhere? no coolant on the ground? white smoke out the exhaust?

if there is any leak on the outside or out of the exhaust, its tiny and takes a day or two of running to look out such a large amount of coolant.

In these types of engines is a failure very common and i have a 95 percent of security that are the head gasket, but also have to carry the head to give surface to a specialized workshop :th_thumbsup-wink:
