blown 2 motors need help before i blow the 3rd

so to start off i blew rtwo motors in my 98 buick regal, i was tlod detentation, so the first time it happened my boost was getting up to 16-18 pounds when i had stock everthing, and when gettin on it, it would sound like it had a weird noise, as if it was restricted at a certain point, it would be like eng eng eng eng, in till i let of the gas,my buddy told me that my cat was plugged, it was. but allmost everyone says that would not make it do it. so now the 2nd motor did not make that sound, it just spun a bearing, had all the power no miss fires, but it went anyways. so now on my 3rd motor since april 08, its misfiring and its using gas like a *****, engines codes read as follows ( p0131 02 sensor ) and ( p0171 system to lean ) and
( p0300 random/ multiple cylinder misfire detected) and then
( p1404 manufacturer control auxiliary emissioon controls) then it repets the o2 sensor again so what to do any help?

sounds like you need to make sure you dont have any coolant leaks to begin with. that will cause the spun bearing. then you need to make sure youve got no vacuum leaks or restrictions (ie, your clogged cat).

then you need to get someone on that car to tune it. sounds like this motor is running a little funky and you need to get it running right.

You are describing different failure modes on each engine. You have rotten luck.

On this third engine sounds like you have a vacuum or exhaust leak somewhere causing the O2 to read lean and adjust for it by dumping to much fuel in it. I bet your oil smells like fuel now.

Did you use the same engine harness or is it different? If there no leaks then it may be electrical but i doubt it.

It could also be a bad O2 sensor. Has it been replaced with an AC Delco or Denso? (Don't use a Bosche)

the first motor sounds like you were boost stacking...... 16-18psi...is a lot without supporting mods.

second motor was just dumb luck.... the oiling systems on these motors are very weak.

the 3rd... like said above could be a leak of some sort, or a bad sensor. I would also look into a fueling problem. are you using the same setup running that high of boost?
