Blower Motor Melted

Hey Guys! I'm having a fun time with my 2008 GP. I was driving home from work the other day and suddenly rancid white smoke came billowing out of the heat vents. After I let it settle down, I pulled the blower motor and discovered that it basically melted right down. So when I pulled it and put a new one in, nothing happens now. I checked for 12v with the fan setting on full and am not getting anything. I also checked power going to the resistor, and am not getting anything there either. I may be incorrectly checking because I do not have the wiring diagrams for the HVAC. Also strange, when inspecting the fuses, they are all fine except for one labelled Battery Main 4 in the main fuse box under the hood. The car still starts and drives fine. Any ideas?
