blink Blink Goes the lights, then lights out!!!

the guppie (2001 sunfire) is throwing pantrums. When i turn on the key, the driven lights flickers fast like 3 or 4 times, then shuts off the driven lights and a "service" light pops up on dash. Now i can still manually turn my lights on and off. So is there any soluation for this flickering issue?? Thanks for everyones imput.

In my experience with those cars it is usually the drl light realay

fixed the blink blink blink. It was wierd, but bout 3 more times of have to use the lights. There it was, my head light went out. So guess that is bout the only cool feature I have that the 98 grand prix does not! Bout the warden's car sure has alot of better **** than mine does. Thanks
