black or chrome

im kinda torn between doing black or chrome on my red 97 gtp cpe. i really like chrome accents on red but also like the black, i was thinking about tinting my tails, fronts, corners, and fogs. but im wanting to do mesh grill inserts and chrome wheels. do you guys think that would look kinda dumb or would look alright.

for some reason i like ur current wheels. granted, theyd be better lets say 18x9 +36. with a bigger lip too.


i say chrome. chrome on red always looks nice. and with black wheels ud need to have at least 20's to look good.

thats just for the jist of it, both look awesome. i say chrome though. red with silver fascias, grilles, clear corners, and chrome wheels= sex

do something that looks aggressive, not flashy. think gunmetal, a deep silver, or something of that nature. black and chrome are...well, boring.

Tint your tails they look nicer.
Definitely some grills, look at getting them powder coated whatever color you want, stock grills for the gtp's are just bleh.

try to get them used imho, compared to how cheap u can get new headlight housings and corners (i paid 70 shipped for a complete set) tails are pretty pricey (200 for a pair)

hey, to bring this back from the dead, what do you guys think about offset colors for body acc. such as the roofs rails how some ppl leave it black on a different color. well about the same idea with a daytona spoiler or heat extractors?

no way, body panels need to be the same color. i had my spoiler on my car as black for so long and now im getting it painted because i decided it looks stupid. you will too.
