Big oil leak at the oil pressure sensor!

99 3.8 na oil started leaking quite a few drops, and then today it is leaking enough to puddle oil on the ground. I looked and it looks like oil is heavily dripping from the plug on the oil pressure sensor that is screwed in to the oil filter mount. I looks like the oil is coming right out of the plug! Has any one experienced this before? Tomorrow I will pick up a new sensor and replace it.

Common issue.

Replace it or the plug the hole, the sensor is useless as it comes on with 5 psi and by then the motor has already died.

Just went threw it on my 2000 Grand Prix .. Make sure to get the socket it's only like 5$

Yep, happens often as FFDP stated. I replaced it with one of these at the other end on the A-pillar. True gauge FTW.
