Big 3 Upgrade....again



Any bolt that's on the block will work as long as it still allows the bolt to do it's job. Closer to the alternator is better, but it will barely make a difference. Just make sure it mounts to bare metal that you sand clean beforehand, and it's not mounting to a bracket or something of that nature.

From what I can see, I wouldn't personally mount it directly to the alternator. I could just be misunderstanding how the older ones bolt up, but it looks as if it could throw off the alignment of the alternator or the bracket if you have a ring terminal under the bolt.
