• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Best Replacement Parts and online shopping sources

I'm looking for everyones' opinion of the best online source for buying parts, OEM or aftermarket, as well as your favorite company or brand of the following parts:

Serpentine belt: I heard gatorbacks the best

Water pump

Hoses: I heard that the high-miler goodyear hoses are what the police vehicles use and last forever, but I don't see a set for late model Grand Prix or Impala etc.

O2 sensors

Struts/shocks

Front and Rear Brakes

Rotors

CV joints

Thanks!

Best Belt isn't gatorback, its NAPA's Gates Kevlar Belts ($50 or so and thats what I run)

Goodyear hoses in general are pretty good

Best struts out their are either KYB AGX struts or Bilstein struts on the GXP's

Best CV Shaft are either OEM, or SPFH half shafts (both of these are $500 or so new), best on a budget and good for low 13's is the Napa Max Drive which run $100 each side. The best CV shaft out their are the custom Porsche CV ends mated to our cv shafts which cost over $1k for a setup and is very limited right now

Rotors are again subject to what you sepnd. The Advanced technology raybestsos rotors are good for the price and have a great warranty. Their are much better rotors out their but they are again very expensive.

Brake pads are very subjective on certain qualities you want. I like great stopping power, rotor friendly, and don't care about brake dust. I run performance friction z-rated carbon metallic pads on my setup. These aren't available unless you run corvette brake caliper setup up front. Those pads run a around $125 i believe for the front. They stop decent when cold, and grab amazing when warm-hot, but they dust like crazy.
