Hey guys,

Finally going to get my self a new pcm. I had an overkill PCM in my 2000 and it was pretty good but I want to know your opinions on the 04+ options.

Thanks in advance.

pretty sure overkills in Toronto, so go get a in car tune cause he's somewhat local to you.

in car tune is better then a canned tune any day.

Did overkill ever get the 06+ PCMs to work right? Last I heard several years ago he was on to something, but was keeping it his own little secret...

Yea I guess overkill is my best option other than learning to tune myself

Man these posts are old... sure miss the days when the forums were busy.

I have ZZP 1.0 PCM how does it compare to the others?

B.

this is a very active forum really, just how many pages back do you go to find this thread? lol

and most hate ZZP canned tunes. if you scan your car you would know just how off it can be. as with any canned tune really. in car is always best, my engine is not your engine, they all have their own needs. even iff they both have the same mods.

Scotts right as usual. Get a Bluetooth adapter for your cars port and log some data using torque or some other app. Then send said data to a tuner. Overkill, reptile, etc. It's the best way besides an in car tune from a local.

Ok, point me in the right direction for a scanner. Looks like Overkill offers a $50 discount to any PCM's "tuned" by another company.

Get an Obd2 Bluetooth adapter on ebay or amazon and download the torque app for your phone or tablet. That'll allow you to log the data and send scans to will.

I'm pretty sure torque is android only. It was the last time I checked. You may have to pick up a cheap android device to make it work.
