i want to replace my factory head unit with aftermarket.but there are so many out there I'm lost.

Hear is what i want to do.

i want to also add a 4 ch amp

and keep the RAP i don't care if i lose the chime feature

By the way i do have the monsoon sound system in my 2004 grand prix gt.

Or if i can keep the factor head unit and add a amp but get one with high level inputs on the amp.(i realy dont want to use a LOC)i dont care for them.

RAP is kinda difficult to disable compared to keeping it.

Keeping it is as easy as installing a new head unit and not touching anything else.

If you dont want to use a LOC then you need a new headunit.

headunits come down to what you want from it.

So what DO you want your HU to do?

i have been reading a lot of info on the net.I want to keep my steering wheel controls and the factory radio look so i decided to go with a audio control LC6i,run that to my clarion EQS560 Equalizer, then to a good 4ch amp and i good set of deck and door speakers.
