bending dipstick for TOG's

2000GTP

i heard when you install TOG's you need to bend the trans dipstick. how exactly do you bend it, and with what kind of tool? im just trying to figure it out for when i buy my headers eventually

IT's the oil dip stick you have to bend. And you can just bend it with your hand.

it is the trans dipstick, i didnt bend mine and it clears the header by a hair. i could care less about it so i havent touched it

it is the trans dipstick you need to bend...

dont bend it, but slot the hole where it bolts onto the transmission and use washers to make sure the bolt makes contact. i was able to move mine out a couple inches and its all good. you could always get one of those bendy ones too.

The bent ones come stock on 04+ 4T65E transmissions. My Impala has the pre-bent one that ZZP sells. Go to a junkyard and find one...

oh alright. but i just had a change of plans. gonna go with zzp headers because i added everything up, with the catted downpipe and everything the zzp's actually came out to be cheaper than the tog's with a catted downpipe. still will probably need a little bit of bending though for the dipstick either way
