before i start on my 3.4 setup...

Okay, before i even start on my journey to a 3.4 setup, id like to ask some questions to be fully clear on everything BEFORE i start. Currently i'm running a nearly stock 98 gtp. Only things done at the moment are a custom intake which i plan on redoing more seriously soon, and a 180* thermostat. So let me get this started...

Spark plugs and wires- currently im looking at just getting some autolite 605s considering im so close to stock, should i go ahead and get these, then go to autolite 104s when i actually get to 3.4 pulley size? also, is there any benefit in going with MSD/ZZP/etc aftermarket wires over stock wires?

Headers-already decided to go with the Speed Daddy headers from ebay. just waiting to get paypal account sh!t fixed in order to pay for them. question i have is if i have to have emissions (2 year plates so wont need to be done until june 2012), should i have a better cat welded in, or should i just do a cat delete? if i do the cat delete, what kind of codes will it throw and can i just get the codes deleted or set to no report or w/e? also i've seen some people recommend some extra/new band clamps?

Ported TB/Supercharger- Able to be done myself? i like to do all work myself so i can get more experience and because im a cheap ass. I've heard from people it could be done easily with a dremel or rotary tool. just wanting opinions.

Tune- I'm kind of foggy on when i should actually get the tune done if im doing all this is in a short amount of time. should i get it done before the pulley drop? my guess would be yes, but not sure. If so, do i need another tune after the pulley drop to make it run optimally? Considering i'm only about 2 hours from reptile, id like to take a trip out to KC to get it done when he has a bit of time to do it. Would i be able to run all of the mods pre-pulley drop for a 2 hour drive before the tune without major problems? Also, would it be a problem to throw on the 3.4 pulley after the tune for the drive home? (would make it a very fun drive home :th_nanana:)

few misc questions- Transmission shift kit....advised? i'd probably go with the intense one if i do.
Been wanting to move my coolant reservoir to the '99 location...do i need new/different hoses to run it there or just the bottle itself?
I need new motor mounts...should i go with oem mounts or go with solid mounts?

I appreciate any help from anybody that would like to give it...just wanting to do this all safely and worry free. Figured id consolidate it all down to one thread as well rather than filling an entire forum topic up with separate threads. Thanks guys :th_sign-beamme:

u need headers, intake, cooler plugs and 180 t stat. tune can come later. no msd unless u want eye candy, get stock wires... u dont need a ported TB. shift kit is always good to have. tune will take care of all emissions BS...its best to do all mods for 3.4 at same time. all porting SC does is reduce KR.. 3.4 with supporting mods and good tune... u SHOULD be KR free
