• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Been here for a week time to introduce myself

Hello, We have now had our '08 GXP for just over 6mo and we love it. I have a few things that need to be done and I have done a few things already. It doesn't get as good of fuel mileage in town as I would like it to have. I had to change the spark plugs and wires a few weeks ago because of a misfire, I found a plug bad then broke a wire. I'd like to get a better set of wires but I had to get what the store had at the time. I want to go with the MSD or NGK set, haven't decided yet. I plan to have a friend of mine build me a CAI with the leftover parts from my other project. So here is a pic (I need to take some more)

So I figure since you are all car people you may enjoy a pic of my other car!!

And here is my project that I am currently working on

Thread can be seen here

I wouldn't bother with the MSD wires. I'd probably stick with stock AC Delco wires or Dephi because they're basically the same thing. For the cost, there isn't much to gain with the MSD's. Just a thought.

The msd wires are only a little more. Msd wires are around 70ohms and stock ones are around 351 ohms...big difference in a small wau

go with MSD, you can take them off and back on 1000 times and they will not break like the shotty stock ones, ive had the same set on 2 different cars now

I wish I had 3 cars still you have a lot better selection then I had I had a 95 gtp a lot of problems a 98 gtx with a rusted out wheel well and a 97 gtp I picked up for 400 with a blown piston out the block it was nice thinking I owned 3 cars but the 95 got sold to put the 2 98 and 97 together that turbo is huge man that will be cool to see running keep post of all your cars I really like the gxp and pace car as well

Thanks everyone!! That Blazer project has been 3 years in the works, it's purely a labor of love (sure as hell isn't for the money). I started that thing with no way of knowing how I am going to finish it. I have been married for 15yrs and have2 kids and a 40+ year old house so the funds have been low and I have been doing everything I can to keep moving forward on the project. I had built a 3800sc2 Fiero before I started that project and it came out great and fast. I love projects and that one has been a challenge for sure. The Pace car is up next for a restoration but the GXP will get some love in between
