• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So I just bought an '02 GTP and I have a few questions...

I've never had a nice car before and I'm not exactly sure what I need to do with it...I'm not asking for anyone to sit here and explain every little thing to me, but, I was hoping someone could refer me to a website or something that will help me out...

I want to know all of the maintenance things that need to be done on the car. With 52,000 miles do I need to worry about supercharger oil or anything else out of the ordinary? I'm taking it to the dealer Monday and I want to make sure they check/change everything that needs to get done at 52,000. What is everything that needs to be done at the mileage?

Thanks for your help!

I'd say the SC oil could stand to be changed, but good luck getting a dealer to do it. They will tell you they just top it off.

haha...i wish i could..i don't have any tools or workspace...

ONE DAY i will get both of those and I will start working on my car...but in the meantime...others will have to do my dirty work..

who will change the fluids? And what else needs to get done?

It's nothing. You need an allen set (I can't remember if it's imperial or metric) and some way to pull the fluid out (like an old turkey baster and a plastic tube or something). Then you buy a couple bottles of SC oil and have at it.

I have no space now either, but I'm still collecting the tools I need. The money you spend paying someone to do it you could've bought the tools and helped yourself several times over.

so other than the s/c fluids what else should i change/replace at 52,000? Is there any websites you know of that will tell me this information?

Nothing specific to these cars. You probably want a coolant flush, an oil change, and a tranny fluid change (just drop the pan, no flush) with Dexron VI would probably be appropriate. She'd be running like a top.
