BCM location and can I upgrade to keyless remote?

I tried some searching but the phrase "BCM" must be too short to work in the search function.

Working on a 2000 GTP that doesn't appear to have keyless remote. Interested in adding this feature to the car and I noticed a red light on the dash once at the owner's house, but the RPO doesn't indicate keyless remote. There are no fobs with the key either.

Can a BCM be replaced to give the car the feature of keyless entry? Where is it located? Was there a remote start option for 2000 also? Thanks in advance.

They all have the feature, you just need to get a remote and program the remote for the car itself. For the record, the BCM is up under the driver side dash.

Cool. I wonder if a 2001 Firebird remote would work. It's part number is 9364556-4575 DELPHI.
