will getting rid of this valve and letting the bbv draw in fresh air cause any ill effects? i have the right side of the T fitting on the FPR blocked, the solenoid taken out, and the lower vacuum line on the bbv left off....anybody else running like this?
 


Well first off you have a pretty bad vacume leak. So you're running lean. Why don't you hook everything up like it is suppose to be?
 
hey i did put it back on seeing that there were no benefits...i just heard it limits boost at high speeds and TCS but another thing i noticed i am pushing 8.6 pounds of boost on a stock m90 with and intake is this normal?
 
leaving the lower vacuum line off the BBV does not cause a vacuum leak. i run mine like this because i dont have mine hooked up to the PCM. you need to leave the top one though. it will just not allow the PCM to dump boost under torque management, shifts, and high speed.

8 pounds sounds a little high, but nothing extreme. do you really have that downpipe? it should have opened it up a little more.

so it can cause nothing but good results....un altered boost levels? i noticed after diasbling at idle i used to be at -21.5 MAP psi and now it reads -17 psi? weird but as long as there are no ill effects i mine as well by pass it then right? will i notice any thing different
 
youll have to tune around it being like that because the car will no longer limit boost when it wants to. that may mean some knock will appear because it is boosting when it used to be able to dump it.
