BBV solenoid wire up

So my swap is running great, and I'm finishing off a few wire jobs that I let go. Next up was the BBV solenoid, from what I read its the reason I don't get full boost. So I was going to work at wiring that up toamrow but wanted to figure a few things out.

I have a 2000 GT harness on the car with a GTP computer. I know the ground for the BBV comes from Pin 77 in the PCM, and power from IGN1-UH fuse. Just was making sure that's all right, and what would be the best way of going at it. Thanks.

leave it alone and run it vacuum controlled. tune around it so it doesnt affect you and be done. the solenoid will eventually fail anyway and youll be in the same position you are now.

It is hooked up to vacuum, and every time you hit the gas the solenoid opens. Even if it doesn't last I'd rather hook it up, because I don't have the money to have the car tuned.

in order for it to be vacuum controlled, it shouldnt see vacuum. the lower line on the solenoid needs to be removed and capped off at the fuel pressure regulator and youll get full boost, but no longer be able to dump boost under torque management.

besides, its a pain in the ass to put those little pins in the PCM, screw that.
