Looking for a new battery. The place I work at has a c78dt-xhd interstate battery.


I looked on interstate and the battery that goes into the cars has a 78 in it but can't find the one above listed. Will it work?

I have a 01 gp gt with 3.8
 


The one that's mode number above has the side terminals and top terminals. The one I have in it right now is a interstate it only has the side terminals. Not sure what model number it is but I'm thinking its part of the 78 series there's a bunch of differnt ones with the 78
 
78 is a group size, so any group 78 battery will fit. The one you have listed is a commercial battery, that's why it has top posts too since it's usually easier to add accessories to top posts (plow, lights, etc.). It will work but I would just go with a standard 78 without the top posts.
