Bar's Leaks 1111 Head gasket fix... does it do the job?

I was told that my 97 GP GTP would need intake gaskets replaced soon-ish. I know this is a common problem with this engine. I do not believe that i have coolant leaking into my oil, but i did notice that my coolant overflow reservoir is very dirty, and the hose that drops to the bottom has what i think is oil on it. I am wondering if i should use Bars Leaks 1111 head gasket fix to fix any minor leaks that may be present. Will this do the job?

Never put that in there.

Replace the gaskets or whatever else needs to be done.

the only head gasket sealer that works good is Blue Devil (however id replace any gaskets if its my car)
if you need a LIM gasket replace it they go bad on most GP's and should be replaced the right way "new Gaskets"

make sure you get the metal lim gasket and not the plastic one. much better quality and will last

You can't fix bad plastic intake gaskets with any of the sealers on the market. And honestly most HG sealers coat cooling ports/holes and restrict coolant flow. Neither of those is anything you want to do.

On your 97 overflow. What you see is totally normal. There is no real circulation of that fluid and therefore it's old, seperating etc. Likely you have no issues beyond a fueture LIM gasket job. Which likely isn't causing you an issue currently.

Not gonna lie, I used the Bars Pellets to get me by for a few weeks until I did my water pump/Coolant elbows. Didnt really want to but it was all I had to drive. Of course, I flushed everything afterwards.
