baited survey questions

if you guys want to take this survey to help me and my wife out it would be appreciated. my wife is on administrative leave now, and her boss wants to get rid of her. her bosses normal procedure is to treat the employee bad so they resign, but my wife and I are hard headed enough not to resign.

my wife runs the recreation department for the small city we live in.

So a bunch of IP addresses from all over North America fill out the survey? You should have your wife go to the local labor board quietly then record this harlot she calls a boss trying to get your wife to resign.

I have been in the same position. It is called a "constructive dismissal" which is when unfavourable or unpleasant circumstances and work conditions are pilled up against an employee. I have been a salesman for years and I had a manager strip my territory, take away customers I fought to win over ect. I quit because I didn't want to deal with it anymore.

Your wifes boss sounds about the same. I would go to a labor board or a lawyer, give them all the evidence you have. You might be able to win a civil suit against the city for this woman actions, which could mean money for your wife, a VERY healthy severance/keep quiet package or boss lady getting fired. Hopefully all of the above.

we filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission because there are some other things involved like religious harassment. I just dont want to give them the satisfaction of a survey they made go against my wifes actions.

we are actually hoping she gets fired, because then like you said there will be a healthy severance. we were finally able to hire an attorney yesterday, and he said the same thing.

If you want to get really vindictive, go to the media. They always love a good witch hunt. Talk to your lawyer first and express interest in taking her boss down and that you where curious about going public with the issues.

Thats the last thing she needs if everything you have said is correct. Isn't this the same woman who ran a company or had stake in a company that was hired by a city to do work because she also worked for the city?

yep, same woman. we have a journalist doing an investigation into her prior work situation, and the lawyer is going to do the same thing. the local newspaper is too spineless to do anything, but we have other outlets for information, like facebook. the best thing that could happen right now is for my wife to get fired.

another crazy twist: the city administrator is leaving and has employment elsewhere. I wonder if she knew she was leaving when she fired my wife. my wife has been out of work a little over a week now.
