Baer Eradispeed Big Brake Upgrade - 97-03 Grand Prix replacement front rotor

anyone know of a replacement rotor for the baer caliper Eradispeed upgrade for a 2002 gtp. I have tried the 2003 impala but the rotor was to thick
the Eradispeed rotor with the kit is 26.2 mm the one I tried for the impala was 30.7.
 


all I am looking for is a replacement rotor that will fit my baer caliper. I don't want to purchase the Eradispeed rotor again because they are very expensive. so looking for an after market.
I know the dimensions of the eradispeed rotor they are 12" round 5x115 bolt and 26.2 mm thick I'm not 100% sure about the cap size but I can find that out. like I said I purchased the 2003 impala front rotor it was the correct size at 12" and correct bolt 5x115 problem was it was to thick at 30.7mm.. I can't find a replacement one like that. just wondering if anyone had this problem before.
 
ya after reading all that but that still don't not fix my problem I'd have to purchase a new caliber and f body bracket. whats the ford rotor you are talking about.?
 


you might be able to manage temporarily with the impala rotor if you get it cut down a small amount by a machine shop... that would only be if you need the car to drive any time soon. otherwise I would go through a JY with a set of measurement tools, like dial calipers, or at least a block of wood with the 26.2mm you need cut out of a notch, so it fits snugly over the old rotor. Then once you find one that it fits; with the same bolt pattern, offset and diameter; order new ones for that year, make and model.
 
ya thought about doing that to the impala rotor but they say because its slotted and drilled that can't take it down. and 4.5mm is a lot to take off a rotor. don't need to drive the car got lots of time.
ya may have to go that way. take the old rotor off and bring it to napa or something. just thought I'd post on here to see if anyone had a quick answer.
 
you'd be taking 1/2 that number off each side, and yes, you can cut slotted rotors. ive had it done already once. but also making that rotor way thinner then it should be and would likely warp on you.

try searching r1 conscepts yet? they just might have rotors and pads for them calipers.


i just got a full set of their e line rotors and scorched pads, best damn brakes i ever installed on any car or truck ive owned.
 
Baer has this locked down for a reason, so you have to come to them for new rotors. You may get lucky and eventually find a rotor that works, but that is through some leg work it seems. I know on RockAuto if you start going through all the rotors that are made by Centric they will give you the sizes, but then you have to worry about rotor hat height, offset, hub bore, etc. You may very well be stuck or mill the rotors down to your size like scotty said.

In the past I have heard some people talk about some rotor manufacturers willing to make custom size rotors, though that maybe just as expensive as Baer.

On PYFC the rotor rings (if you got the 2-piece setup) is only $324...honestly that is not that bad. I have almost $1200+ in the brake setup of my current car

ya true but I live in canada $411.87 plus shipping and duties Id say I am looking at $600 or more. may have to go back to stock. cheaper for me to buy 2 new calibers and get the oem rotors from ebay. I even emailed pfyc but no reply.
