Bad Night

DreadMcLaren

I Give Zero Fvcks
Well I was out with a buddy last night and we were looking at used cars at 12 am (yes I honestly was looking at used cars). I was driving home and I turned to go through downtown so I could do some "babe watchin" as they were coming out of the bars :D. I got to a stoplight and I didn't come to a complete stop as I was turning right. So right after I turned, a cop came out of nowhere, rode right on my ass for about a block and flipped his lights on :th_sign-busted:. So I pulled over, asked me if I knew why he pulled me over and said yes, looked in my back seat and saw I had an airsoft gun, asked if I had a permit for the pistol, I said it's an airsoft gun not a real pistol. Looked at the gun and said alright and threw it in my trunk? Went back to his car and came back and gave me a Semaphore Violation ticket. Told me to stop at the light next time and said "oh by the way, your tint is too dark, but I'll let it go this time".

Well that was my rant, and I hope my insurance doesn't sky rocket :th_praying:

I would say your ok..... whats ur age? and driving history (tickets?)

I've had much worse nights... at least you didn't end-up in a concrete cell!!

I do have to say my insurance hasnt jumped too much.. and thats with two 15 overs on there :P you should be dine all in all

my tickets:

- 2 x 18 over, dropped to 9 over (both)
- 1 x 15 over
- 1 x 50 over, dropped to 18 over

i win.

15 over i just paid and didnt go to court, the 18 overs i just went to court and they reduced me because i showed up, and 50 over hell yes i did.

Well I guess it wasn't a horrible night, but it didn't really make me happy. Especially his smart ass comment he had to say after he gave me the ticket.

I'm 19 and that's the first ticket/time I've been pulled over.

this is a good post i have so many dumb stories about getting pulled over. most recent a few months ago got pulled over for my stereo being too loud. $108 for my radio being half turned up and my windows down. of course your gona hear anyones stereo at 75ft away with windows down. You can hear my exhaust from further!:D This was the same night i found out my mom has breast cancer so you can imagine my reaction. Got a 125 in a 65 in my TA long time ago. tinted windows is non point just pay it. get a lawyer for the stop light. thatll make your ins go up for the light if you just pay it

o and in my old GP i got 2 tickets on the same highway (hwy70) 2 hrs and 120 miles apart on the same trip!!!!!

well apparently its that time of month for all cops trying to get their quota got pulled over an hour ago for supposedly doing 10 over i mean really i was less than 100 yards from my apartment

Haha I was thinking the same thing after I got pulled over. It's the beginning of the month though so I don't think they're trying to make there quota yet?

i deserve so many tickets though lol.

i was on my way to work one day and the speed limit was 35 (who does 35 anyway!? cars don't even coast well at 35 ugh)
so anyways i was doing 42 in a 35 but he let me go. this one i do not feel deserved a ticket. neither did the cop. good cop :)

and then another time i was just driving like always (speed limits are merely suggestions)
and i got caught doing (I THINK) 55 in a 40? anyways...he let me off for that one too. definitely deserved that ticket

guess im lucky. though last night i was ever so kindly passing the slow traffic on the interstate doing about 80 i guess and a cop came out of nowhere and flashed his spot light i was oops. but that was it he didn't pull me over :th_beer-toast1:
THIS ^^ was my first police interaction with the GP
