Bad bearing 01 gt

Mirraco

One BadAzz GT Dawgg
About a month ago I did the following work. 2 front hubs, control arms, ball joints, sway bar linkage, tie rod ends, and brake pads. About 1000 miles later, I notice going 40+ or about highway speeds I get a humming sounds going right.

did a bearing come bad out of box or something else going on? Bad cv or struts?

hard to say, most stop howling when you turn one way or the other. jack each wheel up and see if you can feel any play. if one has play its the bad one.

how much were these, "some aftermarket" hubs? if not close to a 100 bucks, you now know why it was so cheap.

we try to stick to skf, timken, or moog hubs with a 3 year warranty. and those still go bad. but you got 3 years.

I'll have to check them, I had a little play on driver side when shaking it at 3 o'clock and 9 oclock

I'll have to check passenger for play aswell. Might just do both cv while they are off if they both came bad..

Wheel bearings suck on these cars if you cheap out on the brand.

The ones that go the longest are the OEM ones that came with the car, sadly...
