I HAVE A FWI, stock downpipe with cat and u bend, but magnaflow glasspack in place if resonator and 2 magnaflow street dtm mufflers out back. I was wondering if the 3 inch dp woukd make my exhaust sound deeper and more burbly, like what a downpipe did to my buds caliber srt4. I k ow its i4 and turbo but my car already has a smooth deepish sound now but was wondering if the 3 inch catted dp would make it sound even more deeper? I know ppl say the 3inch dp is bad for power but ive seen ppl say that it just moves the power higher in the powerband. Any input is appreciated! !!

No exhaust mod is necessarily bad, it depends on what you want. But I wouldn't expect to notice a difference with a 3" dp. If you're going to buy a nice downpipe, just do headers.
Edit: Reason being is that headers will also replace the downpipe.

I will eventually but for now i have other things like the parking brake shoes and tierods lol but i think im just gonna do the 3 inch magnaflow cat zzp downpipe

You're honestly wasting your money. You can get headers and downpipe for a little over $200. If you're going to do headers eventually, you might as well do them now. I'm not trying to push anything on you, but I'm just telling you what most other guys would say.

Yea except trying to find a kit with the cat for under 240 dollars too? Its not happening. So thats why im just going to do a zzp catted dp. Either 2.5 or 3 inch. I was wondering if anybody else has done 3 inch catted dp or no cst on L36?
