Axle problems?

Every once in awhile when I am stopped and start to go...the front end shakes or slips and then starts going and runs fine (and I'm not talking about wheel spin). It feels like one of the wheels is hopping/jumping or not turning. Is this an axle issue? The transmission came from GM about 2 years ago and seems to be ok. This normally happens when slightly turning while getting on the gas or going uphill. Any help would be great....sorry for another issue :(
 


That kinda sounds like one of your CV's is binding. Check to see if one of your boots is ripped or if there is any other sign of visual damage.
 
Maybe...that's what I was thinking, that maybe something is binding or half way catching...I figured I would ask the experts before I went out and spent more on something that may not be the problem.
