.5* of KR in a few areas, 0* in most after some tuning. I was actually able to add a couple degrees of timing in some spots. Suck on that, everyone that said I HAD to have a downpipe or I'd have major KR :p
 


just wait till winter smart guy. its nice outside right now. i bet in winter youll hit like 12-14 pounds of boost and get anywhere from 5-10* of knock.
 
With stock pulley and minimal mods, usually if you start out with a simple tune and adjust your wot fueling, they don't get a whole lot of knock. Given you have higher compression, its not bad that you were able to add a few degrees but if I were you I would invest in a scan guage to monitor everything if you don't have a tuner.
 
I have a friend that lives 5 mins away with a tuner that I can borrow so I can scan periodically.
And why the hell would I be going WOT in the winter? Really.
It was 65 degrees while we were tuning, if its much colder than that, I don't see why I would even be getting into boost. That's just retarded.
 


Well when there is no snow...or ice...and the roads are dry and its just bitter cold outside...you'll rethink that because your car will run like a raped ape

my thoughts exactly. I usually see 5psi, the other night it was 28* outside, i saw a massive 8 to almost 9psi :D, punched it at a 20mph roll and held it spinning 3rd on a ****ty asphalt road.
 
Meh, we'll see. I'll scan it when it actually gets that cold. There's really nowhere in my ****ty town to do that anyway, so the only time I'll even be able to try that is when I go out of town. Like when I was tuning the other day with fastkatt, that was my first real launch since the topswap. I think when they were making rockford a town they forgot to give it a police force, added a few extra mcdonalds instead :p
I've never seen a mcdonalds with a double drive-thru, that was interesting.
