first of all for those not on glubgp heres a deal for AGX struts at Performance Peddler.

Once you add them to your shopping cart put in ClubGp as the discount code and it drops the price down to 460.68 , way better price then ZZP, and I think shipping may be free, not for sure though

Also jsut wondering about lowering springs. I want the best handling lowering spring, really don't care if the rides rough as i actually like that. What spring would u recommend?

Personally for me, I am on the 2nd set of SSC Gen II's. I had one set on my old GT and when I got my new GTX, I was not going to lower it, and I gave them to Reptile, he loves em. Of course less than a year later I am now gonna lower the GTX :p I went this time around with the AGX's as well, but I got them from a guy in Louisville who's Regal was totalled out before he could install them. And they came with my SSC Gen II's!! I could have not lucked out any better than that!

That price from Peddler is really good for AGX struts no doubt! I say the SSC Gen II's or maybe the Vogtland's. Anything else, I really do have anything decent to say about them.

Just my 2 cents on that topic.

Well, I wouldn't say you "gave" them to me, we had a pretty fair trade.

I do love them....I couldn't get over the response and handling that they gave the car. That's probably the best upgrade I've ever done.

Where can i find some of these springs at? and do they sell any that lower the car a little? the ones that you have brian, were they stock height?

I think Wbody carries the SSC's?

Believe it or not, my car is about 2" lower than stock. The wheels and tires probably make it look like it's stock, but I can barely get my low pro jack under it. Another reason I love this setup, it makes it not look lowered like it's slammed to the ground.

The SSC lowering springs aren't there anymore unless its the Wbody store brand. also are the progressive rate springs?

I got the Eibach lowering springs winthin the first 1000km of getting my car (new in 03) and I loved them. I was running the stock struts, and they held up well enough. I had some extra cash, and then picked up the KYB AGX Sport Adjustable Struts. I was riding on 235/40/18. And the ride was pretty hard. I just got new rubber 235/45/18 and the ride is amazing.
But over all the Eibach springs were great, i loved how the car handled after i dropped it. No more pitch/dive/squat/roll... Its a great investment and a fun project to work on yourself! As far as i remember the springs aren't that expensive either. Any car i get in the future, I would totally look at fitting it with Eibach springs.... Even before I'd take it off the lot. Not to mention the look after you drop it, is incredible. Much more aggresive!

hey 4YOUTONV just wondering how much your car was dropped. also did u have any pogo going on when u lowered them on the stock springs?

bula81069 When I first lowered the car I only had pogo effect while i was running the stock struts, and when they were nearing the end of their life. It wasn't like it was bouncing out of control either. It just took a bit after hitting a bump at speed to settle. But iif roads are smooth in your area, you probably wouldn't notice. Its lowered 1.5 inch.

ok yea roads are from being nice where i live lol. i was still planning on getting struts to replace my stockers with my lowering springs. thanks for letting me know how they were cuz those were the ones i was looking at

Anybody using the WBS springs? If so what do u think of them?

currently running them on my 03 gs, 03 gtp and my buddys 01 gtp.

:th_thumb-up: all cars sit awesome, regal drop was more than the gtps, but all turned out awesome. no pogo, had to get the shortened dogbones to eliminate vibration tho....handling is like its on rails only suspension mods on all are gr2's, lowering springs, stb.

good kit for the money imo

Its all about GMPP springs (not made anymore)

Or

Vogtland springs (great springs)

Match those up with some AGX struts and your set
