I'm thinking of selling my gtp, i just dont have the money to keep up with its maintenence while trying to mod.

If anyone wants to chime in and convince me to keep it then feel free, but im almost sure im gonna be saying bye to her soon

with that said I'll be looking for a newer AWD, turbo car,with a manual trans obviously that is reliable with low mileage soo its not in the shop once a month. Any one have any ideas? I'm thinking a wrx or just about anything with some pep in the drive train. plus must have a good aftermarket support

Bio i know you said youre turning into a tuner, what would you recomend?

Keep it, It's always fun fooling people with a GP when they have stangs and ls camaros.

i have a Blown head gasket after my rebuild now and it sucks. But im keeping her.

yea but im getting sick of it, every time i fix something 2 more things go, and now the trans is acting up.

plus the more I work on it the more i realize how much of a rust bucket it is

it's depressing isn't it? i was hoping that kinda stuff didn't happen till after college. but this winter took 2 years off it's life
 


I cant deal with having any car thats high maintnance
so i can see gettin rid of it and changing platforms
If i could get 7k for mine id sell but I would never be able to get it so im keepin mine for a very long time
 
yeah i know it, i cant stand it anymore.... usually when Im down ill go out for a drive but lately i cant evan do that cause my facking tranny wants to stu stu stu studder every time i open it up

...and my moms 4 banger fusion just wont cut it lol
 
depends on the money you want to put out on it, but other than the subbie maybe an audi like an S4, or a talon or 2nd gen eclipse. they arent that new but still cool cars
 
^ theres no doubt that those are cool and potentially really quick but im looking for something in the area of 04 or so

and ive always like audis but i hear they have horrible axle problems
 


the hyandai genesis 2.0 T is a great tuner platform..rwd,manual tranny..i read online that raising the boost a lil and a tune netted 48 rwp..theres a 6cy 3.8 N/A option but its alot more money and less mod friendly

or..older evo, 300zx, mustang 5.0's are slowish from the factory but can be had cheap and have huge aftermarket support and can be very quick..idk man just a few suggestions for ya :th_winking:
 
hell, you would even be happy with a super or tubocharged cobalt, theres aftermarket support for colbalts and they can end up being pretty quick
 
You dont like the maintenance costs of a gp and want to get a turbo awd import. You are kinda going the wrong way on the cheap to maintain scale.

fast_cheap_reliable I have yet to see any one have all three
 


turbo subbie. any will do. or a saab 9-2x (which is a wrx wagon with a higher-class interior... and is way cheaper, whilist having the engine tranny and suspension from a wrx)
