Average 1/4 mile times and MPH for stock '97-'03 GT's?

I haven't been able to find much information searching around on google so figured I'd ask here. I'm wondering what the average range for ET and MPH are in the 1/4 mile for a stock '97-'03 Grand Prix GT?

For the heck of it I ran my stock '03 GT at the drag strip last friday and I'd like to see if I'm on par or not. I went a best of a 15.75 at 87mph with a 2.26 60', DA was about +500. I did remove the front headlight to increase air flow into the airbox which was worth about 1 mph.

I noticed that the car shifts into 3rd right before the traps. Anyone hold it in second for the whole run? I'm going to try that next time out as it should be a small gain in the ET.

That's a pretty good run to be honest. Most stock GT's have trouble breaking out of 16's.

well bro you're not the only one.I ran a 15.78 @88 bone stock. Its better than nothing.I now have a drop in K&N and magnaflow cat.Next time i go im goin with a 1/4 tank of gas or less,no floor mats,remove my spare tire, and take everything out my car.Hoping to do 15.5

my 02 stock at the time went 15.4 @ 88mph, 2.0 60' it as about 40* out that night, took out the headlight, 40psi in the back tires.

Ok so it looks like I'm on par which is good to know. Today I flipped the dog bones and next time out I'm going to run a 1/4 tank of gas, keep it in 2nd, rig up a custom fenderwell and run in some better air and see how it does. I never thought I'd be messing with and racing my DD lol.
