my 04 gtp heads up display has stopped working,actually the spring has broken...anyway the plastic trim piece that surrounds it has a huge crack in it too,looks pretty expensive,but looks like crap,esp when you walk by and its the 1st thing you see! no one around town can seem to help,or they are just not interested in helping... thanks

Replacement trim is like $80 or so.. You can always just reinforce it with jb weld or smithing similar to hopefully prevent any future cracking and do yourself a favor and get one of those windshield screens to help keep heat out of the cab.

thats the funny thing,i keep it covered all the time.. in the summer esp, i had it out for a week on vacation and it all went to hell! must be some super Chinese plastic? actually its kinda disappointing the way cars fall apart nowadays.my 77 ford still has original stuff,and it sits out all the time!! i will look into the new part,thanks!
