Autopage in Grand PRix questions

Ive done a couple alarms over my life but normaly the car didtn have a factory alarm. I see in my diagram i have a factory arm/disarm and that is where this system gets teh horn funtion from. Anyone have any actually experince on the 04+ GP alarm install?
 


I have a 08 GP base and my alarm has gone off a couple times on me. it has something to do when you lock it from the inside or with a key fob, and unlock it by pulling the thing that shows if its locked or unlocked and then opening the door. once I had my car lock but windows rolled down (smart idea eh?) and I wanted to open the door but it was locked and I didn't feel like grabbing my key from my pockets so I just unlocked it by pulling the stick and opened the door, next thing you know it was honking and flashing the lights, so I ended up getting my keys out and calming it down lol
 
While not 04+ I do recall a BNB post about sending an arm/disarm to the factory unit with the aftermarket unit. Pretty sure I did that on mine. Might shed some light on the issue.
 
yeah there is the factory arm/disarm. I had issues trying to figure that out. If i would arm with door open i couldnt unlock. Factory alarm doesnt allow it to. I ended up going off the factory disarm from key wire. and normal arm with lock
