Automatically subscribes me to random threads?

I don't know why, but every time I check my email it will be flooded with updates for just random threads that I've posted in, and when I go to my user control panel, I'll be subscribed to them for some weird reason! Is there a way to fix this?

in your user profile you can adjust the setting under Default Thread Subscription Mode

Yea mine did the same thing when I first registered. I changed the settings a couple of times before I stopped getting subscribed threads
