• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

The guys on this forum werent joking about the autolite 606's, they are the best by far that Ive put into my 2000 GTP, abd Ive tried some of the high end plugs too. Thanks again GPforums

I will have to try those, all i was buying is that iridium stuff from ngk and bosh with two ends.

how are they burning?

Those are cooler than stock, have mods?

and iridiums are fine, platinum is not.

but copper is most ideal.

Old motors...old technology. They love copper plugs like they enjoy cold thermostats and high octane gas.

Still works...even though people are goin' different routes.

Basically it comes down to...welcome to modding. If you plan on it...get used to changing your 1.99 spark plugs every 2 or 3 oil changes. If not, then sure...spring for the Iridiums.

Right...it can still fail, I agree.

But at the rate you change them out...failure rate is slim to none.

True. Change them at 15k, and you'll never have a problem. Personally, I'd still check/re-gap Iridiums at 50k regardless, if only to keep them from seizing to the engine, so there's that.
