Autolite 103 plugs

xp are there iridium plugs right? its probably a waste. nothing wrong with standard copper. also i probably wouldnt run that cold of a plug on a stock motor. no reason too.

lol wtf.

Too cold of a plug does effect performance, MPG's, premature foul-out, etc. On a stock car you might get lucky to hit 10k~ with them. Now on my old heads/cam car, I ran 103's for over 15k~ miles on the same set.

Get AL606's. Gap them at .050". You want the hottest spark you can get away with, not the coldest.

Copper core plugs are the plugs you want to run.

Old school motor, old school technology works.

I don't run NGK plugs, just not a fan. Cheap, AL plugs for $2 a piece. Done and done. Don't over complicate it. TR6's are too cold. TR55's are too cold. Run standard Autolite 606's or 605's if you want a smidge cooler plug.

Got autlite 606s, gonna take these 103s out, iv had them in for atleast 8 months n drive 100 miles a day. There probably shot

I ran autolite iridium 104 for a while and they wore out just as fast as the copper core plugs I ran before then. I won't run iridium plugs again

That's because they are iridium ENHANCED not full iridium. BTW the car comes with iridium plugs from the factory because 3800's have a waste spark ignition system. Iridiums are the only plug that will last 100k

With just running stock stuff I have never had an issue with the factory iridium plugs going 100k or more. When you think about it it's amazing.

20 years ago it was...now it's old hat.

It's when you start modding that those plugs need to go in the trash.
