Asking for Your Prayers...

blueguy

The Blue One
Hey guys and gals...

I have a very good friend in need of a few prayers for her Mom. She was diagnosed with cancer awhile back and went through all the Chemo treatments, etc. Well, everything was good until her recent visit back to the doctor to tell them that the cancer had came back and she is headed back to treatment this week.

Just asking for yours prayers, hoping this will come out for the better:)

Nick

Will definitely say more than a few prayers for her. Having just lost a friend to pancreatic cancer, I know that dealing with cancer is rough on everybody it touches.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the friends and family. My dad is going through treatments now for throat cancer. So like said above, we know it can be a rough time. I hope everything does come out for the better. We are all here for you.

My wife and I will keep them in our prayers. Encourage her to keep her head up, adn let her know other are thinking of them. I know how you feel Badazgtp, my great grandfather is losing the fight to liver cancer. He's going down hill pretty fast to the point the have put him in Hospice. Most things dont normaly get to me, but when I see my grandpa get teary eyed, that's all she wrote.

The worst thing about cancer is you feel helpless in the situation, you can't let them go, just gotta keep them in your prayers even if they are in better places now...

I lost quite a few relatives, a teacher, a friend from cancer. My aunt lived long enough to attend her last son's high school graduation, instead of thinking about college he had to be there to pull the plug. Those same cousins were with me and my brothers when we were driving out to see my grandmother in the hospital and we got a call from my aunt halfway there saying that we didn't need to go any further, she was gone. My teacher/neighbor lived long enough to go to her son's wedding and get out of her wheelchair to walk down the aisle, not soon after she passed.

It hurts to be around people with cancer, i have a few friends that are going through it and i can't talk about it to them because I've had nothing but bad experiences and can't be fake to them.

My dads treatment seems to be going well. The biggest thing is he won't eat. He has lost well over 30 pounds in the last few weeks. We're going to have to end up putting him in the hospital for it.

Hmm... Sounds like he needs some of "Mommas" good cookin stead of Hospi-food...

Yeh, moms went through Stomach Cancer back when i was in Training... Tore the hell outta my heart because I wanted nothing more than to be there just in case... so I can definately relate to you all. My fiancee and I are praying for you, all of you, BADAZGTP, FoSHO99, Boger's 99GTP, Injun#4, bluegtp91, & anyone else who has relatives or friends with Cancer. Its a difficult battle, but NEVER lose hope. My mother's living proof.

I'll definitely be sayin some prayers for your friend's mom and badaz's dad and boger's99gtp and fo sho and anyone else who needs it!! Cancer in your family is a horrible thing to have to go through. my grandma died from cancer and it was really bad.

Have you tried Ensure yet? If he will drink anything, the Ensure will help him with all the viatmins and protein. Maybe it would help with the weight loss, altho it taste like crap. Thats all my great grandfather has the strength to do, but he drinks one a day so its gotta help somehow.

That's what the doc's told us to give him. He drank one in like three days. He is very stubborn. So They said they were going to have to admit him until he would do what he was suppose to do.

Well hopefully he'll start to eat more. Trust me, the Boger family is nothing but stubborn people so I know where your comming from.

lol... stubborn insure drinkers... maybe nutrament? but be careful not to "inhale" too much, can also cause massive weight gain...
