Ash Tray Removal in 2001 Grand Prix

Can anyone tell me the trick to removing the ash tray. I want to remove the center console and it appesars that I need to get the ash tray out in order to reach some bolts. Thank you.
 


Just lift the center consol up put the car in neutral and pry under the tabs on the back of it witha flat head and it will lift up
