I want to lower my car here soon, I was wondering if your car shook after you lowered it Because of the axle angle, and what you did to make it stop?
 


Yes, it shook a bunch after lowering. I have an 04 though. The eibach's lower the 04+ a little more than the older GP's. I added 1/4" spacers to the motor mounts and it helped but it's not all gone. I need shorter dogbones to fix it though
 
yes mine did.

i corrected it with shorter dog bones. if i were to do it again i would put spacers in to bring the motor back up.

why do you want them?

ZZP ones are from a montana mini van, and are approximately 1" shorter than our stock ones. that is too short and you only want 3/4" shorter so you're best off modifying the stock ones.
 


I have Eibachs on my 97 and have no issues with what you are talking about. An alignment was done. The car drives nicely.

I have stock dogbones with Rubber bushings and have some heavy ass 18's.

Do you have poly motor mouts?
 
My car shook violently under any acceleration after I lowered it. I tried shorter dogbones and it did nothing. My Pass. side halfshaft was bad. Jack it up and check for play.

This could solve most if not all of your problems.

Have you tried cradle spacers?

You guys having vibration issues how is you tranny and lower engine mount?

wbody store said this at one time too. most of the lowering vibration they experiences was due to worn motor mounts and after they were changed most was alleviated if not all of it. however, i speak from experience that bringing the motor back up to where it is supposed to be after lowering makes a difference in how the car handles and vibrates.

as far as the cradle spacers, that is the opposite of what you want to do. cradle spacers will lower the motor so you have more clearance for an intercooler. motor mount spacers are what you do want and will raise the motor back up, essentially correcting axle geometry, but losing some clearance from the motor to the hood.
 


I haven't lowered it yet, so I don't know if its going to vibrate or not. Looking to do all that I can to solve the problem of lowering an 04 before the issues begin. Changing out my shocks now, then will be able to look for problems

Well after replacing both halfshafts, the vibration was barely noticeable. I'm not going to buy engine spacers either. I'll live with the little amount of vibration I have
 
Highley reccomend not going with shorter dogbones, but adjustable turnbuckles instead.

They are adjustable, soild and about 3 lbs lighter than dogbones. plus it cost a whopping $10 at lowe's
