Are headlights bad on all years of grand prixs?

Hello,

Just wondering if the light output on headlights is bad on all years of grand prixs? I have a 1998 gp gt and the lighting is terrible even when I changed to the silverstar ultras I didn't notice it being much better a little brighter.

Just curious because I am wondering if the newer grand prixs are better for lighting or not and do they still have a lot of problems with water getting in the headlights with the newer grand prixs?

yes, they all suck. the projectors that are being sold have better output. you could also get HIDs.
 
I searched for better headlights for 2004-2008 models of grand prixs for didn't have much luck all I saw was links for 1997-2003 models.

Can you link me to legit HID's for 2004-2008 models?
 
they are all 'legit'. you just need a good harness, otherwise the bulbs and ballasts are all relabeled for that specific company.
 
Get HIDs that will improve lighting drastically on the 97-03s

For cheaper you could run SUVLights upgraded headlight harness for 9007 and remove the diffusers out of your stock capsules, that will improve light a bit, even better so that Silverstars or Nighthawk blubs could by themselves. Although with the harness, these blubs won't last long, cheaper blubs will last longer. I used to run this set up on my GTP, currently I switched this setup to my other GTP and I now have HIDs for mine.

Don't get me wrong, HIDs own all (even projecters to a certain aspect I think), but an upgraded harness and the diffusers removed does work wonders. Honestly with the price of HIDs nowadays, your a fool not to go with them in the first place...
 


I also have a 98 and I also have the silver star ultras in it and quit frankley it blows.
but in my defence I would have never got the SS's if they hadnt worked so well in my wifes 06 GP. with it there was a big difference.
