ok just thought id start this off with this product called aquapel, not sure if any of you heard about it, but i thought i would share it. im sure you all know rain-x but infact rain-x only lasts a couple weeks at most..aquapel lasts for a guarentee 3 months and could last up to 6 months depending on the conditions. they use this product on aircrafts so this must tell you something...right? well i found out that the cheapest price to get this is on amazon.com, unless someone knows other wise...well this is just something i thought i would share since i found out about aquapel not too long ago..

from what I find it is not certified for aircraft (the ppg website for it doesn't even mention aircraft) I know rainx is prohibited from use on aircraft due to glare (just don't want bad information) the only references to aircraft seem to be forums.
What Is Aquapel®

Aquapel is not used on aircrafts. Its based on technology from the aviation indusrty. Aquapel from what i gather and have read is good for vehicles and boats only. Though i do not like to use this product. Leaves too many streak marks across the windshield when its pouring out. You can find more info on this product at corporateportal.ppg.com

ok let me refraise that...i heard they use them on aircrafts...sheesh, dude john you didnt use aquapel you used rain-x...aquapel is different

Please dont get me wrong im not bashing this product at all. Im just giving my opn on this product, what ive read, and my experience with it. You dont need to stop putting info on it. Many other people probably like it!

most streaks from rainx (only one I have experience with) is due to dirty glass (I clean with easy off before rain x, and only get it on the glass thank you)

RainX is better and cheaper. Also, if you get the little concentrate stuff, you can add that to regular water in the spring, summer and fall and use it as Windshield cleaner.

Plus, add it to regular windshield cleaner and you have a fresh application of RainX on the windshield.

Plus, what I do when I wax the car, I wax the Windshield and that beads up just like RainX and sheets the rain right off.
