Apartment guys, how do you keep your car clean?

So I just moved into an apartment for the first time. you cant work on your car in the parking lot, but detailing seems to be ok (at least everyone does it)
My problem is vacuuming.

How do you guys vacuum your cars? do you just take it somewhere, do you use a 12v vacuum, a cordless vacuum?

I was a member of a carwash club with unlimited washes, but honestly with the new rent I cant really afford to do that anymore (unexpected circumstances)

any thoughts, experiences, on this or just cleaning in general?

i drive to the car wash and vac the car for a buck. then go to a friends house to hand wash it. where i keep my car wash soap, ect.

dead of winter i just hit the 5 dollar car wash as needed.

if you can park near your door you can run a extension cord to the car for your home vacuum.

California Duster for starters...during the dry times for dust/pollen/etc.

Those work wonders, especially if they're kept clean.

I always used car wax on my wheels...always made wiping them down every couple days super simple from brake dust.

As for interior stuff, yes...I used a high powered Shark handheld vacuum. It's old so I'm not sure you can get them anymore but it's something like this: http://www.lowes.com/pd_599721-3538..._clickID=828742b8-a22c-463e-aa54-bb9ab3db1217

But sadly, washing the car more is going to be a common thing. Unless you can get a garage (I've got two at my apartment, lol) you'll be cleaning more often.
