One of those is 24', Bill? I'm not sure where you're at, but that could go on Minnetonka just fine. My brother, dad and I fished off a 19 footer forever. 4 was cramped.
Hulls are a dime a dozen in MN. A clean boat with a working engine is the hard part. My buddy had an early 90's fiberglass with enclosed bow. That thing moved ok for being so heavy with a GM 4.3 marine until the water pump went, he took on water and cracked the block.
Those are looking good, man. :th_thumbsup-wink:
A strong word of caution on newer outboards with VVT, do yourself a favor and run non-oxy. If you're running 100-150 horse, you got about a 12-15 gallon tank. The difference is minimal in cost. Last year, two guys (my old man included) left old ethanol gas around and used it this spring. That scaly sh!t from the ethanol fuel sitting in the system, combined with whatever crud from sitting in the tank 9 months ran through the engines and caused major problems. Dad's lookin at a rebuilt powerhead for an '08 Evinrude 90. The other guys Yamaha 4 stroke is f&^!-ed, wont go past 2500 rpm before bogging and stuttering. $300 and a pcm later, and it still doesn't run. All that over not taking 5 sec worth of advice.
