• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Anyone near Francesville Indiana?

Dude, I drove right by your house a few months back and you were scared. I gave you plenty of time as well, I'm sure I can dig up the thread if you like...

Hell I'm back in Chicago now and Enterprise is going to hate me. Apparently going to a plant that makes not for human consumption powdered chicken eggs and tracking wet chicken egg powder plus rain equals a fowl (pun intended) smell in the seats and carpet. It's going to take them a week to clean out this thing.

Installing a scale filler controller on an air packer to fill the powder into 50# bags. The product is inedible for human consumption, it's used in animal feed like dog and cat food. I go a lot of places from munitions plants weighing C4 (M112 demolition charges and the little blocks used on mine clearing rocket detcord thing, don't remember the name) to concrete plants to food plants to Rubbermaid to.....if it needs to be filled, weighed in motion, sorted or metal detected I've probably been to where it's made. If you took Modern Marvels, How it's Made and Factory Made that's pretty much what I do.

This contraption is a filler for testing our new controller. It's made entirely out of scrap except for the white tank and the bucket head vacuum. Even the upright posts are about 2' pieces of scrap I welded together.

here is a short vid of it running.
