Anyone measure primary size of speed daddy? (search had conflicting results)

Just as the title states are they 1 5/8 or 1 3/4? I found conflicting answers with nobody truly measuring. Just in case someone does measure for me... tubing is always measured o.d. thanks

Wow this is surprising... I see tons and tons of people pushing people to buy speed daddy headers. However not one of you truly know the size of the primary that you are putting on your cars....interesting.

LOL this is true... i ordered some anyway just to find out. Figured i have 3" stainless catted downpipe and stainless PLOG sitting here waiting to go on. So why not sit some headers next to them until i decide if i want to turbo or stick with the gen v.

That's what I was thinking was 1 5/8 since they are based off SLP... but then I see people saying they are 1 3/4 since ssac claim that size. My guess is as usual people don't know how to measure tubing. Since internally (obviously depending on wall thickness) it seems 1 3/4 is almost 1 5/8 and internally 1 5/8 is almost 1.5 which I've seen all these measurement guesses on the same header.

I posted my exact measurements (dial calipers) on here a few months ago when I had ordered a couple sets.

Strange i didnt see anything from you however i saw alot of other people going off of specs the manufacturers post. However i just got them today and the order came from dna motoring but email from speed daddy. They are in fact 1 5/8 primary which is what i wanted thanks for the replies guys.
