anyone ever mess with GM's DOHC 3.6?

I know these motors put out a fair amount of power. Have any of you ever raced a car with the 3.6l motor? Did it put up a good fight at all? Just woundering.

Seen one run 14.9's all day at KCIR.

G6 GXP Coupe.

Not sure if it had anything done to it, maybe a catback.

Not bad for a heavy FWD car only rated at like the mid 250's.

They make peak power in the low to high 6000 RPM range, they'd haul ass on a 3800 on the top end.

new impala's have 3.6l @300hp , not to sure what changed.
