i was putting some oil in my car cause it leaks and has a bad valve cover gasket, and i took the oil cap off and there was this yellow goop on it. after some research i found that it commonly happens in the winter due to the cold and oil vapors condensing near the oil breather. just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them

well it got so cold one night, maybe -35 degrees, i started my car and boy did she not want to start, well when she did. i see my low coolant light come on. my coolant froze. says how ****ty my coolant is. i need to flush it anyway but i thought it was funny. it thawed out in like 10 minutes lol

I saw some of that goop on my cap last time I took it off. Oil is clean so I wasn't worried. You can even use a paper towel to wipe it off if you're feeling frisky.
