• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Anyone able to identify this part?

Tap this and the engine begins to stumble:

Anyone know what it is?

I'm not sure.

I may not even be 100% right, the diagram in the engine bay says where all teh vacuum lines run.

Why not tap the map sensor??

Not trying to tap anything. Did a rocker install on my car. The car ran great for about 2 minutes. Now it's acting like it has a huge vacuum leak and not wanting to stay running. Had it running for a bit then started taping things. That is one thing I tapped and the engine freaked out and died. Sucks

Ok just unplugged it completely, car stays running. Any harm in leaving it unplugged and driving like that?

Your car is going to run bad when you hit that because you hooked it up incorrectly. Your vacuum lines are all fubared up. There's two that go to it and an open port. Please look under your hood for a sticker and the bottom port should be vented to air.

It had 2 vac lines going to it. One goes to the TB the other goes to the canister purge valve solenoid. The other nipple that is on purge valve solenoid is open to vent to the air. And I would love to look at a vacuum diagram sticker that is on my car, but it's not there. ;)

Sorry, I don't agree.
The evap canister line runs to this round POS, then the other side runs to the rectangle POS, on the nipple labeled "CAN" then ...the other line of the rectangle goes to the TB.
